Centre Etiquette & Useful Infos
Paramita Centre is very welcoming to all. However, there are certain things that you may like to know that are present in the Buddhist tradition:

Sessions are usually very appreciated by the participants, beginners or not; sessions include meditation instructions and practice alternating, that makes it accessible to all. We have meditation cushions and chairs, so you don’t need to bring your own; however, we ask to not do stretching exercises or lie down during the classes

Wear comfortable clothes, but don’t wear clothes that reveals the parts of the body such as the legs, the breast or the shoulders

Please remove your shoes and your hat when you arrive

The centre is a place of learning and practice of meditation where everyone is looking for inner peace; so please don’t have behavior that could disturb others such as close physical contact with your partner, doing promotion for your own events or speaking too much loudly or interrupting the speaker, staring at participants, etc.

Don’t make use of drugs or alcohol before coming to the centre; you will benefit from the sessions with a clear mind free of disturbances of these substances.
