This International Retreat will be held at Paramita Retreat Centre in Quebec, Canada. People from all over the world are welcome.
We welcome everyone from Canada, USA or all over the world for this special event!
All of Buddha's teachings are for the practice of 2 qualities : calm-abiding (shamatha) and special insight (vipashyana). As a foundation, calm-abiding is most important. To know how to practice and attain calm-abiding, it is of utmost importance the receive the authentic instructions coming from the Buddha. Lama Samten, Buddhist monk born in Tibet and trained in Gajang Buddhist Monastic University for almost 20 years, will lead the retreat and give the instructions.
In this retreat, there will be 4 sessions / day including instructions and meditation practice. You will receive the whole instructions on how to achieve calm-abiding, such as :
